Restoring grounds for goods: The Japanese philosophy of "Mottainai"

Init. Coffee is proud to introduce SUS Coffee from Japan, of which has debuted her upcycling coffee gear series in December 2021. From grounds to gears, including pour over dripper, French Press brewer and coffee tumbler.

Aside from being the first Japanese brand to produce coffee gears using grounds, SUS also wanted to promote other sustainable development ideas. Therefore they have participated in “Table for Two” - striving to solve food imbalance such as obesity and health related issues due to unhealthy eating. SUS will donate a healthy meal for each coffee product they have sold, and TFT will further donate 20yen to provide one school meal for a child in need when each healthy meal is being served.

Init. Coffee is proud to have partnered with SUS coffee to bring their products to Hong Kong. From now on you can bring them home and support the full initiative of coffee upcycling!

來自日本，名字靈感來自於Sustainable+Coffee的 SUS Coffee就為了推廣「咖啡可持續發展」而製作出一系列器具，例如咖啡濾杯、法式濾壓壺以及咖啡瓶。

SUS Coffee為首個日本品牌以咖啡渣製作產品之餘，也希望推廣更多可持續發展的議題。因此SUS參加了日本開始的「Table for 2」全球企劃，每賣出一件產品就會向企劃中的國家/地方捐出一份健康食物，以減低非健康飲食帶來的問題；而這企劃更會額外以每份食物計向發展中國家學童捐出相等於20yen的食物援助。
